Frozen french Fries bagging and Case packing production lines 
Whole Line Description 
The End of Frozen french fries bagging and Case packing production line is a fully automated packing line customized developed by our company according to the production capacity requirements and packaging processes of French fries food factories or contract manufacturing plants. According to the production line layout, this line connects to the previous segment’s quick-freezing discharge outlet. The sorted bulk fries are distributed to the belt conveyor via a vibratory fast push conveyor. After being lifted by the belt conveyor, the fries enter a multi-head electronic weigher to complete the weighing and dosing according to the preset weight. The VFFS bag packaging machine automatically forms bags according to the bag size and quantitatively fills the fries . The sealed fries bags are then conveyed by a belt conveyor through online metal detection, X-ray inspection, and weight checking, and then enter the vibratory shaping conveyor. After shaping, the bags enter the Case Packer’s buffer conveyor line, where they undergo vacuum exhaust and wait for grouping. The grouping mechanism is servo-controlled and consists of two online freely movable buffer hoppers. The bags fall into the buffer hoppers by photoelectric counting to complete the grouping (5-10 packs ro customized).Carton magazine are automatically formed and sealed at the bottom by an opening machine and then conveyed along a roller conveyor line to the Case packing station. A pneumatic device lifts the carton 90 degrees to align with the discharge outlet of the buffer hopper. The side push mechanism of the case packer pushes the grouped bags into the carton according to photoelectric signals and PLC instructions. After the carton is lowered 90 degrees by the pneumatic device, it enters the roller conveyor line for online weight inspection. Qualified cartons are then marked with a laser coder and automatically sealed by tape sealer. The sealed cartons are automatically palletized by a robot, and then automatically wrapped with a stretch wrapper on the pallet before entering the automated warehouse for storage and turnover.

Description of Major Equipments

Vibratory fast push conveyor
Food-grade belts and stainless steel materials are used; the frozen fries fall onto this belt conveyor from the discharge outlet of the preceding freezing machine. The conveyor is equipped with a vibration device, and during transportation, the bulk quick-frozen fries are vibrated to prevent clogging and accumulation.
Multi-head Weigher
The food-grade belt conveyor lifts the bulk frozen fries distributed by the front-end push conveyor to the batching hopper of the multi-head electronic scale.
 According to production capacity requirements and portion weight, 10-head, 14-head, or 16-head high-precision electronic combination scales are selected to complete the quantitative measurement and discharge of the fries.

 This electronic scale adopts a stainless steel mesh structure and buffer device to prevent the fries from breaking during the falling process.

VFFS Bagging machine
Select the appropriate pouch packaging machine according to the bag size. For bag’swidth less than 250mm, use the VFFS520; if bag width less than 350mm, use the VFFS720.Typically, for bags that fill 1 kg, the VFFS720 is generally used.
This pouch packaging machine is a standard conventional unit that automatically completes bag forming, filling, and sealing through PLC control. It is equipped with automatic bag punching and date coding according to process requirements.

The transverse and longitudinal sealing modules are equipped with temperature controllers to adjust the heat sealing temperature for optimal sealing effects on different packaging materials.

The film pulling mechanism is equipped with color mark tracking to prevent film misalignment.

The bag forming mechanism features a quick-disassembly structure to facilitate switching between different product specifications.

Vibratory shaping conveyor
This vibratory shaping conveyor is equipment used as a preparation process before the french fries bags automatic case packing.
It features a stainless steel outer frame, equipped with multiple rows of elliptical engineering plastic modules and multiple round rod belts for fixation.
Driven by a motor to generate vibration amplitude, it levels the french fries bags at a relatively horizontal position, preventing the fries from piling up inside the bags.

Vacuum exhaust device

The vacuum exhaust device was developed by TECHFLOW according to the Case packing requirements for frozen french fries bags, and it also belongs to the pre-casepacking preparation process equipment.

After the french fries bags are sealed with punching by the VFFS machine, they still contain a large amount of air. To ensure flatness during boxing, the previously leveled bags pass through this vacuum unit, achieving an even flatter shape before entering the movable servo buffer hopper of the Case Packer. 

This vacuum exhaust unit features a stainless steel frame with adjustable guardrails and is equipped with multiple rows of densely punched incline conveyor belts. It uses a vacuum pump to extract excess air from the bags.

Automatic Side-Loading Case Packer
The side-loading case packer was developed by TECHFLOW team based on foreign experience and tailored to the characteristics of soft bag packaging products. 

It is mainly used in industries such as bagged french fries, potato chips, cereals, nuts, and flour.

This case packer machine integrates paper cartons picking and positioning with side-loading of bagged products. It employs a photoelectric counting system and servo-driven buffer hopper, and achieves automatic bag loading into boxes through PLC control.
  It features a user-friendly HMI interface with fault alarm and traceability functions.

  The design is simple in structure, easy to clean and maintain.

  Electrical components can be customized according to customer requirements.

  The operating language can be customized according to the requirements of overseas customers.
